As I walked through the nearly empty FLORIDA TODAY parking lot around 2 this morning, I noticed something quite luminous in the sky.
"It's the moon, stupid," I said ... to myself.
Of course it's the moon, but darn, it was the brightest one I had ever seen. I'm not sure why: It wasn't even full. But I had never noticed such brilliance from the thing since moving to the Sunshine State.
They should call it the Moonshine State.
