Having a cell phone that takes photos is better than having no camera at all, so with only my new iPhone on Wednesday, I shot this rainbow in front of my newspaper's headquarters. It followed a rainstorm that was an anomaly in an otherwise dry weather pattern for the past few weeks in Central Florida.

The iPhone takes photos at 3 megapixels and actually has very few settings that can be adjusted for an exposure. So as I post more and more iPhone photos to this blog, you should realize that the camera is doing most of the work.

The reason I was without my Nikon is illustrated by the iPhone photo above. At this time, my Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom lacks serious cargo capacity. It's also the reason there have been so few posts to The Offlede recently.
